Darkly lyrical and mysteriously sensual, Amanda Harberg’s Poem and Transformations is a two-movement recital work of beauty and exuberance. Commissioned by Susan Glaser who recorded the work for Koch International, Poem and Transformations offers the flutist ample opportunities to sing and dance while weaving a nocturnal spell.
